Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Aisent Trading Co., Ltd., which operates the Myrthen Staging brand ("we", "us"), handles personal information in the Myrthen Staging review card service: the links on our NFC cards and stands (ts.myrthen.com) and the business dashboard (tapcard-staging.myrthen.com). Purchases on Amazon are covered by Amazon's privacy notice.

Information we collect

When someone taps or scans a card. We record which card was used, whether it was tapped or scanned, the time, the visitor's country (determined from the IP address by our hosting provider) and the device type (iOS, Android or other). We do not keep IP addresses in these records or set cookies, and the records do not identify the visitor. The visitor is then sent to the review page the business has chosen, such as Google, where that site's privacy policy applies.

When a business uses the dashboard.

Account details: your email address and name, and your profile picture if you sign in with Google.
Sign-in records: one-time sign-in codes, and the IP address and browser information of each signed-in session.
Business information you enter: business and team names, locations (name, address, Google place ID), review links, card names and settings, and the email addresses of people you invite to your team.
Messages you send us, such as card reset requests.
Approximate location: when you search for your business, your city-level location (derived from your IP address) is sent to Google to rank the results. We do not store it.

How we use it

To run the service: redirect cards, let you claim and manage them, and show tap and scan statistics.
To sign you in, keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
To send service emails, such as sign-in codes and team invitations.
To show your locations' public Google ratings.
To answer your requests.

We process this information to provide the service you signed up for, and for our legitimate interests in keeping it secure and measuring card use. We do not sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Google user data

When you sign in with Google, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture, and use them only to create and identify your account. We do not access any other data in your Google account. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the providers that run the service for us, and when the law requires it:

Cloudflare: hosting, database, email delivery and security.
Google: Google Sign-In, and Google Maps Platform for business search and ratings. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
Zoho: our support mailbox.

We and these providers may process data outside your country.

How long we keep it

Individual tap and scan records: 90 days. After that we keep only daily totals per card.
Sign-in codes expire after 5 minutes; sessions expire automatically.
Our hosting provider keeps technical request logs, which may include IP addresses, for a few days for security and troubleshooting.
Account and business information: while your account is active. If you ask us to delete your account, we do so within 30 days unless the law requires us to keep it.

Cookies

The dashboard uses only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. Card links set no cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete or export your personal information by emailing support@myrthen.com. Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to a data protection authority. We respond within 30 days.

Children

The service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 16.

Changes

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. For significant changes, we will also email account holders.
